About Dr. Kepros
An Iowa native, Dr. Christopher Kepros grew up in Marion, IA. He became interested in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery in high school and decided to pursue his dream as he made his way through college. Dr. Kepros wants every patient to feel like family. He strives to provide the best treatments to his patients by bringing passion and expertise to his manner of care. As a board-certified oral surgeon, Dr. Kepros practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and specializes in orthognathic surgery, dental implants, and pathology.
Dr. Kepros is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Additionally, he is a director of North Iowa Dental Seminars — a branch of the nationwide Seattle Study Club, which is a “University Without Walls,” providing unparalleled continuing education for dentists and dental specialists. These seminars help raise the standards of the quality of dental care provided to patients in the community.
Dr. Kepros received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Loras College in 2003. He continued his education at the University of Iowa before completing his OMS residency at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA. After his residency, he served as staff surgeon and assistant program director at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Program in El Paso, Texas. He also served as residency training director at the San Antonio Military Medical Center Oral and Maxillofacial Residency Program in San Antonio, Texas.
Interests & Hobbies
Dr. Kepros enjoys exploring the great outdoors and stays active throughout the seasons. He loves to hike, boat, and cross-country ski.
