In the face of the current public health situation unfolding throughout our country, we have made the difficult but morally correct decision to follow the current American Dental Association and Iowa Dental Association recommendations to close our office to elective consults and procedures for a 3-week period.
As part of the CDC recommendations regarding social distancing, we all need to do our part in FLATTENING THE CURVE NOW, potentially saving our hospital resources for those who critically require it.
Please know we will still be available for emergency triage if needed. We will have some staff present to answer phones during clinic hours regarding rescheduling and emergent dental concerns.
As you know, forecasting what may happen is impossible. Given the trajectory of this pandemic and how quickly recommendations have changed in the past week, we will be taking things “day by day” and will be in contact with you all as soon as possible regarding the future weeks.
We wish all of you well and hope you and your families all remain healthy.
